I have a BSc with majors in biochemistry and the life sciences. I ran a commercial diving company for eight years, and worked in the mining industry for seven as a kind of chemist-y, salesman-y type person.
I didn't really like doing either of those two things so in 2003 I started to write and I haven’t really stopped.
These days Impress is a one-man band, with a great network of creative types who work alongside me: graphic designers, business gurus and web developers.
A follower of Community-Based Social Marketing and Enterprise Facilitation, I recently started a new venture called Strategy of the Commons, which is intended to help deal with the issues we face as a result of climate change, peak oil and the struggling economy.
